What an amazing opportunity for our students and our school community! Every student participated in a high energy drumming session with Craig from Kids on Congas. Learning about different drums, drumming techniques, dynamics, timbre and rhythms we drummed, we learnt, we laughed and had an awesome time!

Craig tailored additional sessions for Years 5 and 6 building on our drumming rhythms, creating loops and poly rhythms. Our listening and concentration skills were challenged as well as our ability to work together as a class to produce rhythms in unison. The Year 5 and 6 course culminated in a performance for our school community which was thoroughly enjoyed by all - parents, students and teachers.
Craig was very easy to work with, his flexibility allowed us to work in with the current school timetable and his engagement with students of all ages and abilities meant that everyone had a chance to shine. Highly recommended.
